About us

The Juvenis is a collective of young writers exploring what it means to come of age in the world today.

We believe that young people should not simply be written about, but given the space to write, question and contribute to the conversations that shape their world.

Through thoughtful journalism, cultural commentary and original perspectives, we explore the ideas, experiences and tensions that define young adulthood. From technology and education to identity, ambition and the changing social landscape, our work seeks to illuminate what it means to grow up in the world as it is today.

Our writers bring something distinct to the page: the perspective of those living through the questions they examine. We take young people's ideas seriously, welcoming intellectual curiosity, considered disagreement and a willingness to look beyond easy answers.

The Juvenis is for young people who want to think deeply, write seriously and engage with the world beyond themselves. It is also for parents, educators and curious adults who wish to better understand the generation coming of age today, not through assumptions made about them, but through ideas expressed in their own words.

We exist to bridge generations through writing that invites reflection, challenges assumptions and offers a more considered understanding of young people and the world they are inheriting.

We are not interested in speaking for an entire generation. We are interested in giving its many voices the opportunity to speak for themselves.
