The Hoopoe

The Hoopoe is a bird long associated with wisdom, curiosity and the courage to venture beyond familiar horizons. In literature and ancient traditions, it appears as a messenger, an observer and a seeker of truth, bringing knowledge from places others have yet to explore. For The Juvenis, the Hoopoe symbolises the value of a fresh perspective: the capacity of young people to notice what others overlook, question what is taken for granted and contribute meaningfully to the world they are inheriting.
